Product Description
M10 A2 Stainless Steel Double End Studs – DIN 938
Please note small threaded end is not measured in length (10mm)
M10 DIN 938 double end studs manufactured from A2 stainless steel, with a metric coarse thread and 1.5mm pitch. Each stud features two threaded ends separated by a plain central shank, for securing components to a tapped base or housing.
The short 10mm threaded end screws into the tapped component, leaving the opposite end available for a matching M10 nut. Covers, brackets and other attached parts can then be removed while the stud remains fitted.
Key Features
- A2 stainless steel: corrosion resistance for general engineering, equipment assembly and maintenance.
- DIN 938 design: double end stud with a nominal screw-in thread length equal to the thread diameter.
- M10 metric coarse thread: 10mm nominal diameter with a 1.5mm pitch.
- 10mm screw-in end: short threaded section for fitting into a matching tapped hole.
- Plain central shank: unthreaded section between the two threaded ends.
- Choice of lengths: 30mm, 35mm, 40mm, 45mm, 50mm, 55mm and 60mm nominal lengths.

Typical Applications
Used for securing machinery covers, mounting brackets, assembling housings and fastening removable components where an M10 DIN 938 stud is specified.
Choosing the Correct Stud
Check that the tapped hole and mating nut both have an M10 x 1.5mm thread. Choose a stud length that accommodates the fitted component, any washer and sufficient nut engagement.
