Brand: Heico - Stainless steel wedge lock washers help resist rotational loosening in bolted joints exposed to vibration and dynamic loads. Available for M6, M8, M10 and M12 fasteners, they use a paired washer design with internal cams and external radial serrations.

During tightening, the outer serrations grip the adjoining surfaces. If the fastener starts to loosen, movement between the internal cams increases the thickness of the washer pair, helping maintain tension in the joint.

Installation

Install as a complete pair with the cam faces together and the serrated faces pointing outwards. Position the pair directly beneath the bolt head or nut against a suitable bearing surface. Do not separate the pair or place an ordinary loose flat washer beneath it.

For through-bolted connections, secure both the bolt head and nut with suitable washer pairs. Tighten using the correct torque for the fastener, lubrication and joint conditions. The adjoining surfaces must allow the serrations to grip.

Ordering

Select the washer size to match the nominal fastener diameter. M6, M8, M10 and M12 identify the bolt or screw size, rather than the washer outside diameter. Check the selected pack quantity before ordering.
