7/16" UNC 12.9 grade self colour steel socket cap set screws, manufactured for imperial UNC threaded fastening applications. These high tensile socket cap screws are made from 12.9 grade steel with a self colour / plain finish, making them suitable for strong fastening applications where an imperial coarse thread is required.
The cylindrical socket cap head uses a hex socket / Allen key drive, allowing secure installation and good tool engagement where a strong socket head fixing is required. These 7/16" UNC socket cap screws have a 14 TPI Unified National Coarse thread and are suitable for use with compatible UNC nuts or tapped holes.
For imperial UNC socket cap screws, the suitable standard reference is ASME B18.3 for socket cap screw dimensions, with ASME B1.1 covering the UNC thread form. Available in lengths from 3/4" to 1 1/2", with pack sizes suitable for single repairs, workshop use and bulk stock.
