Imperial HSS Hexagon Die Nut Sets – UNF, UNC, BSF or BSW
UK-made high speed steel hexagon die nuts supplied in a case, with a choice of UNF, UNC, BSF or BSW threads. Each set covers five nominal thread diameters: 1/4″, 5/16″, 3/8″, 7/16″ and 1/2″.
Each case contains one thread system only. Choose the required thread type from the product options; the case does not contain a mixture of UNF, UNC, BSF and BSW dies.

TPI means threads per inch. Read the column for your selected set. Matching diameter and TPI alone does not make different thread systems interchangeable; the thread profile must also match.

Use
Identify the thread system, diameter and pitch before selecting a die nut. Secure the workpiece, align the tool squarely and use an appropriate cutting lubricant. Turn steadily and clear chips regularly. Avoid forcing the tool onto an incorrectly sized or mismatched thread.
