Product Description
1 1/2" metric fine carbon steel circular split dies for restoring and cleaning external metric fine threads. These UK made dies are mainly used for cleaning, chasing and repairing existing threads on bolts, studs, threaded bar and other male threaded components.
The circular split die design allows the die to be held in a suitable die stock, making it useful for workshop, engineering, automotive, machinery, repair and maintenance applications. Carbon steel dies are a practical choice for cleaning up damaged, rusty, dirty or worn metric fine threads.
Available in metric fine thread sizes from M14 to M20, including M14 x 1, M14 x 1.25, M14 x 1.5, M16 x 1, M16 x 1.25, M16 x 1.5, M18 x 1.5, M18 x 2, M20 x 1, M20 x 1.5 and M20 x 2. These dies have a 1 1/2" outside diameter. Metric thread dimensions are commonly referenced to ISO 261 and ISO 965, with ISO 2568 used for circular die style references where applicable.
