Product Description
13/16" BA carbon steel circular split dies for British Association external threads. These dies are mainly used for cleaning, chasing and restoring existing BA threads on screws, studs, threaded rod and other male threaded components.
The circular split die design allows the die to be held in a suitable die stock, making it useful for model engineering, electrical work, instruments, restoration, workshop repair and general maintenance applications. Carbon steel dies are a practical choice for cleaning up damaged, dirty or worn BA threads.
Available in BA thread sizes from 0BA to 12BA, these dies have a 13/16" outside diameter. BA thread dimensions are commonly referenced to BS 93.
