1 1/2" metric fine and extra fine high speed steel round dies for cutting new external metric threads.
These UK made HSS circular dies are suitable for producing fine-pitch external threads on shafts, studs, bolts and engineering components. Metric fine threads have a smaller pitch than the standard metric coarse series, providing more threads over the same length.

For best results, use with the correct size die stock and a suitable cutting lubricant. Begin the die square to the workpiece and periodically reverse it slightly to help break and clear the swarf.
