1 1/2" National Pipe Thread carbon steel round dies for cleaning, chasing and restoring existing external tapered NPT threads.
These UK made solid circular dies are manufactured from carbon steel and are intended primarily for repairing damaged, dirty or lightly corroded external threads. They are suitable for use on pipe fittings, adapters, connectors and engineering components with American NPT threads.

Carbon steel dies are primarily recommended for cleaning and restoring existing threads. For regular production of new threads, a suitable high speed steel die may be preferable.
Please note: NPT sizes refer to the nominal pipe size and do not equal the actual measured outside thread diameter.
