M10 metric coarse 8.8 grade high tensile zinc plated steel serrated hexagon flange head bolts manufactured to DIN 6921, with a standard 1.5mm thread pitch.
These partially threaded flange bolts feature an integrated washer-style flange beneath the hexagon head and serrations on the underside. The flange spreads the clamping load over a wider surface, while the serrations bite into the mating material to help resist rotational loosening caused by vibration or movement.

Serrated flange bolts are commonly used in automotive assemblies, machinery, agricultural equipment, brackets, chassis components, fabrication and general engineering applications where resistance to vibration and loosening is required.
The integrated flange provides a wider bearing surface than a conventional hexagon head and can remove the need for a separate flat washer in suitable applications. The serrated underside is intended to engage directly with the mating surface.
These bolts are designed for use with compatible M10 × 1.5 metric coarse nuts or tapped holes. Where possible, the plain shank should pass through the components being clamped, with the threaded section positioned beyond the joint.
Property Class 8.8 high tensile steel provides greater strength than standard mild steel fasteners, making these bolts suitable for higher-load general engineering and mechanical assemblies.
Bright zinc plating provides general corrosion resistance for indoor and sheltered environments. For prolonged outdoor, marine, coastal or highly corrosive conditions, stainless steel or a more protective specialist coating may be more suitable.
The serrations may mark painted, plated or decorative surfaces. They should not normally be installed over a separate flat washer, as this may reduce the locking action and allow the washer to rotate.
Hexagon flange bolt length is measured from beneath the flange to the end of the bolt.
