Product Description
M12 A2 stainless steel flat penny repair washers, available with 35mm and 50mm external diameters and a 1.5mm thickness.
These large-diameter flat washers provide a considerably wider bearing surface than standard flat washers. They help spread clamping loads over a larger area and are particularly useful when fastening thin sheet material, covering enlarged or damaged holes and repairing weakened mounting points.

Penny repair washers are commonly used in automotive repairs, bodywork, mudguards, panels, roofing, cladding, fabrication, machinery, agricultural equipment, trailers and general maintenance applications.
The oversized external diameter spreads the load from a bolt, screw or nut over a wider area. This can help reduce the risk of a fastener pulling through thin sheet material and can bridge holes that have become worn, enlarged or damaged.
The 35mm external-diameter washer provides a wide bearing area while remaining relatively compact. The larger 50mm option provides greater coverage where the mounting hole or surrounding material requires additional support.
A2 stainless steel provides good general corrosion resistance and is suitable for many indoor and outdoor applications. For marine, coastal, swimming-pool or highly corrosive environments, A4 stainless steel may be more appropriate.
Use with a compatible M12 fastener where the stated internal diameter and manufacturing tolerance provide suitable clearance. The washer should sit flat against the mating surface and be adequately supported across its bearing area.
