Product Description
M6 A2 stainless steel flat penny repair washers, available with 20mm, 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 40mm external diameters.
These non-standard large-diameter flat washers provide a substantially wider bearing surface than conventional M6 flat washers. They help spread clamping loads across a larger area and are suitable for securing thin sheet materials, reinforcing mounting points and covering enlarged, worn or damaged holes.

M6 penny repair washers are commonly used for automotive bodywork, panels, brackets, electrical equipment, appliances, roofing, cladding, fabrication, machinery, trailers and general maintenance applications.
The enlarged outside diameter spreads the load from an M6 bolt, screw or nut over a wider area than a standard washer. This can help reduce localised pressure and lower the risk of a fastener pulling through thin or weakened material.
The 20mm outside-diameter washer provides a compact enlarged bearing surface. The 25mm, 30mm, 35mm and 40mm options provide progressively greater coverage where a wider load-spreading area or increased hole coverage is required.
A2 stainless steel provides good general corrosion resistance and is suitable for many indoor and outdoor applications. For marine, coastal, swimming-pool or highly corrosive environments, A4 stainless steel may be more suitable.
Use with a compatible M6 fastener where the stated internal diameter and manufacturing tolerance provide suitable clearance. The washer should sit flat against the mating surface and be adequately supported across its bearing area.
