Product Description
M4 A2 Stainless Steel Socket Grub Screws – Cup Point
These M4 socket grub screws are manufactured from A2 stainless steel and feature an internal hexagon drive with a cup point. Their headless design allows them to be installed flush with or below the surface of the component.
The cup point concentrates pressure around the edge of the contact area, helping to produce a secure grip against shafts and mating components. These grub screws are commonly used for securing gears, pulleys, collars, handles and knobs where a projecting screw head is not required.

A2 Stainless Steel
A2 stainless steel provides good corrosion resistance for indoor use and general outdoor applications. For marine, coastal, swimming-pool or chemically aggressive environments, an A4 stainless steel fastener may be more suitable.
When assembling stainless steel fasteners, use a suitable anti-seize compound where appropriate to reduce the risk of thread galling.
