Product Description
M12 A4-80 Stainless Steel Fully Threaded Hexagon Set Screws – DIN 933
M12 metric A4-80 high-tensile stainless steel fully threaded hexagon set screws manufactured to DIN 933, with a standard 1.75mm metric coarse thread. Also commonly described as fully threaded hex bolts, these fasteners provide high strength together with excellent resistance to corrosion.
A4 is a molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel commonly known as marine-grade stainless. It offers improved resistance to corrosion and chloride-containing environments compared with A2 stainless steel. Property class A4-80 provides a minimum tensile strength of 800 N/mm² (800 MPa).

For best corrosion performance, use with compatible M12 × 1.75 A4 stainless steel nuts and washers. Stainless steel threads can be susceptible to galling, particularly when assembled quickly or at high torque. Applying a suitable anti-seize compound and tightening at a controlled speed can help reduce this risk. The correct tightening torque must be determined from the joint design and operating conditions.
