3mm A2 Stainless Steel Dome Head Pop Rivets
These 3mm open-end blind rivets feature a corrosion-resistant A2 stainless steel construction and a standard dome head. Commonly known as pop rivets or break-stem rivets, they can be installed from one side of an assembly where access to the rear is restricted.
Available in lengths from 6mm to 16mm, these rivets cover combined material thicknesses from approximately 1.5mm to 12mm. They are suitable for sheet metal, panels, brackets, enclosures and general fabrication work.

Grip range: The grip range is the total combined thickness of all materials being joined. Select a rivet whose stated grip range includes the measured material thickness.

Installation Information
Drill or prepare an approximately 3.1mm diameter hole through the materials being joined. Insert the rivet through the aligned holes and install it using a hand, air or battery rivet tool fitted with the correct 3mm nosepiece.
During installation, the tool pulls the mandrel through the rivet body, expanding the blind end and clamping the materials together. The mandrel then breaks at its designed breaking point.
Choose the correct grip range rather than selecting by rivet length alone. A rivet that is too short may not form correctly, while excessive rivet length can produce an unsuitable joint.
