No.6 A2 Stainless Steel Countersunk Slotted Self Tapping Screws
These No.6 countersunk slotted self tapping screws are manufactured from corrosion-resistant A2 stainless steel. The flat countersunk head is designed to finish flush with a suitably prepared surface, while the traditional slotted drive can be installed using a standard flat-bladed screwdriver or bit.
The screws have a nominal diameter of approximately 3.5mm and are suitable for fastening sheet metal, plastics and other compatible materials. Their tapping thread forms a mating thread as the screw is driven into a correctly sized pilot hole. These are self tapping screws and do not have a self-drilling point.

Applications

A2 stainless steel provides good corrosion resistance in many general indoor and outdoor environments. For marine, coastal, swimming-pool or similarly aggressive environments, a suitable A4 stainless steel product may be preferable.
