Installation Guidance
Confirm that the mating component has a No.10-32 UNF thread before installation. These screws are not interchangeable with No.10-24 UNC or similarly sized metric threads.
Screw length is measured from beneath the socket cap head to the end of the fastener. Use a correctly fitting 5/32-inch hex key and apply a tightening torque suitable for the joint, mating material and application.
Stainless-steel threads can be susceptible to galling. Using a suitable anti-seize compound and installing at a controlled speed can help reduce this risk.
