4.8mm Copper / Steel Sealed Dome Head Pop Rivets
These 4.8mm sealed blind rivets feature a copper rivet body and steel break-pull mandrel. Their closed-end construction helps restrict the passage of moisture, vapour and contaminants through the centre of the installed rivet while providing secure mandrel-head retention.
Designed for fitting from one side of the assembly, these copper and steel pop rivets are suitable for joining copper, brass, sheet metal and other compatible materials where access to the reverse side is limited. The 9.5mm dome head provides a neat finished appearance and a good bearing area around the fixing hole.

The stated grip range is the total combined thickness of all materials being fastened. Rivet length is measured from beneath the dome head to the closed end of the rivet body.

Installation Guidance
- Measure the combined material thickness and select the appropriate grip range.
- Drill a clean 4.9mm hole through the materials being joined.
- Remove burrs and debris from both sides of the hole where accessible.
- Fit the correct 4.8mm nosepiece to the blind-riveting tool.
- Insert the rivet fully and hold the tool square to the work surface.
- Operate the tool until the mandrel breaks at its designed point.
The closed-end body offers improved sealing compared with an open-end blind rivet. If a fully watertight, gas-tight or pressure-rated joint is required, the completed assembly should be tested and an appropriate sealing washer, gasket or joint sealant considered.
