4mm Black Aluminium/Steel Dome Head Pop Rivets

Black 4mm dome head pop rivets manufactured with an aluminium rivet body and zinc-plated steel break mandrel. These open-end blind rivets provide a neat black finish and allow components to be permanently joined when access is available from only one side of the workpiece.

Suitable for fastening sheet metal, aluminium, plastic, automotive trim, panels, signs, enclosures and general fabrication. A standard hand, pneumatic or cordless pop-rivet tool fitted with a suitable 4mm nosepiece can be used for installation.

Applicable Standard

This aluminium-body and steel-mandrel open-end blind rivet type corresponds to ISO 15977:2002 and the British adoption BS EN ISO 15977:2002, covering open-end blind rivets with a break-pull mandrel and protruding head.

The former general blind-rivet standard DIN 7337 has been withdrawn and replaced by material- and head-specific ISO standards, including ISO 15977 for this rivet type.

Selecting the Correct Length

Measure the combined thickness of all materials being joined and select a rivet whose recommended grip range covers that measurement. The rivet should pass fully through the prepared hole before the mandrel is pulled.
