Product Description
4mm Black Aluminium/Steel Sealed Dome Head Pop Rivets
These 4mm black sealed dome head blind rivets have an aluminium body and steel break-pull mandrel. Their closed-end construction helps reduce the passage of moisture, air and dirt through the rivet body compared with conventional open-end blind rivets.
The black finish provides a neat appearance on dark panels, trims, bodywork and visible fixing points. These permanent fasteners can be installed where access is only available from one side of the materials being joined.

Selecting and Installing the Rivet
The combined thickness of the materials being fastened must fall within the stated 5mm to 6.5mm grip range. Prepare a clean 4.1mm hole and install the rivet using a blind-rivet tool fitted with a nosepiece suitable for 4mm rivets.
A sealed rivet can improve resistance to leakage through the rivet body, but the completed assembly should not automatically be regarded as watertight. Hole condition, joint design, surface preparation and any additional sealant will affect sealing performance.
