6.4mm Aluminium/Steel Black Dome Head Pop Rivets
Black 6.4mm dome head pop rivets manufactured with an aluminium rivet body and zinc-plated steel break mandrel. These open-end blind rivets provide a strong permanent fixing and can be installed when access is available from only one side of the workpiece.
The black-finished aluminium body provides a neat appearance on dark panels, trim and fabricated assemblies. Suitable applications include automotive panels, commercial vehicles, sheet-metal fabrication, enclosures, signs, machinery and general engineering work.

Applicable Standard
This aluminium-body and steel-mandrel open-end blind rivet type corresponds to ISO 15977:2002 and its British adoption, BS EN ISO 15977:2002. These standards cover open-end blind rivets with a break-pull mandrel and protruding head in aluminium-alloy and steel construction.
The former general blind-rivet standard DIN 7337 has been withdrawn and replaced by material- and head-specific ISO standards, including ISO 15977 for this rivet type.
Choosing and Installing the Rivet
Measure the combined thickness of all materials being fastened. This measurement must fall within the recommended 8–11mm grip range. Prepare an approximately 6.5mm diameter hole and use a hand, pneumatic or cordless rivet tool suitable for installing 6.4mm structural-size pop rivets.
