4BA Zinc Plated Steel Countersunk Slotted Machine Screws
4BA countersunk machine screws manufactured from mild steel with a zinc plated finish. The slotted countersunk head sits flush with the surface when installed into a suitable countersink.

Countersunk screw length is measured from the top of the head to the end of the thread.
Standards
BS 57 is the traditional British Standard for BA screws, bolts and nuts, including slotted countersunk machine screws. The 4BA thread dimensions are specified by BS 93.
BA threads are not interchangeable with metric, UNC, UNF, BSW or BSF threads.
Installation
Use a correctly fitting flat-blade screwdriver and install into a compatible 4BA threaded component. Avoid overtightening or allowing the driver to slip from the slot.
