Product Description
4BA Solid Brass Countersunk Slotted Machine Screws
4BA countersunk slotted machine screws manufactured from solid brass. These traditional British Association threaded screws are designed for fastening into a corresponding 4BA tapped hole or use with a compatible 4BA nut.
The countersunk head provides a neat, flush finish when installed in a correctly formed countersink. The traditional slotted drive is particularly suitable for restoration work, model engineering, electrical equipment and other applications where a period-correct appearance is required.

Countersunk screw length is measured over the complete fastener, including the head. Use only with a matching 4BA internal thread. BA threads have a 47.5-degree thread form and are not interchangeable with metric, UNC, UNF, BSW or BSF threads of a similar diameter.
Use a correctly fitting flat-bladed screwdriver to reduce the risk of marking the brass or damaging the slot. Brass is softer than steel, so these screws should not be excessively tightened or used as substitutes for high-tensile fasteners.
