Aluminium Large Flange Trebol Rivets for Soft Materials
Aluminium large flange Trebol blind rivets for fastening soft or low strength materials, including plastic, wood and fibreglass. Both the rivet body and mandrel are aluminium, providing a lightweight fixing.
During installation, the rivet forms three broad expanding legs on the blind side. These spread the clamping force over a larger area, helping reduce the risk of crushing or pulling through the material. The large flange also provides a wider bearing surface on the installation side.

Selecting and Fitting
The grip range is the combined thickness of the materials being joined. Select a rivet whose grip range covers this total thickness, and prepare the hole to the diameter shown in the table.
Use a compatible blind rivet tool and nosepiece, with sufficient clearance behind the joint for the expanding legs to form. Test the fixing on a sample when working with particularly soft or brittle materials.
