Large Flange Peel Rivets – Aluminium Body / Steel Mandrel
Large flange peel-type blind rivets in 4mm and 4.8mm diameters. Designed for fastening soft, brittle or low-resistance materials, including plastics, wood, insulation and plasterboard.
During installation, the rivet body splits and peels outwards behind the material, creating a broad bearing area. Combined with the large flange head, this helps spread the clamping load and reduce the risk of pulling through softer materials.

Selecting and Fitting
Select a rivet with a grip range suitable for the combined thickness of the materials being joined. Body length is not the same as grip range. Allow sufficient space behind the joint for the rivet to expand, and use the correct nosepiece for the mandrel.
