Metric A2 Stainless Steel E-Clip Retaining Rings DIN 6799
Metric E-clip retaining rings manufactured from A2 stainless steel to DIN 6799. These external retaining clips fit into a machined shaft groove to restrict axial movement of components such as bearings, gears and pulleys.
The E-shaped profile allows installation from the side of the shaft. Available in a range of metric sizes, these clips provide a compact retaining solution for repairs, maintenance and mechanical assemblies.

Sizes and Dimensions
All dimensions are in millimetres. The nominal clip size relates to the groove diameter, not the full shaft diameter. Check both the shaft range and groove dimensions when selecting a clip.

Fitting Advice
Check that the shaft groove diameter and width suit the selected clip. Fit radially using a suitable E-clip installation tool, avoiding excessive force or distortion. Confirm that the clip is fully seated in the groove before putting the assembly into service.
