M6 & M8 Zinc Plated Steel U-Bolts for Pipe – Supplied with Nuts and Washers
Zinc plated steel U-bolts for securing round pipes and tubes to suitable brackets or supports. Available with M6 or M8 threaded legs, each U-bolt is supplied with two matching nuts and two washers.
The rounded bend fits around the pipe, while the two threaded legs provide attachment points through the mounting support. Choose the correct size using the pipe outside diameter and the dimensions below.

Overall length is measured from the outside of the curved bend to the ends of the threaded legs. Leg centre spacing is measured between the centres of the two legs. Dimensions are subject to manufacturing tolerances.

Choosing and Fitting Your U-Bolt
Measure the actual outside diameter of the pipe before selecting a U-bolt. Nominal pipe size may differ from the measured outside diameter. Check the leg centre spacing against the mounting holes and allow sufficient threaded length for the support, washers and nuts.
Fit a washer and nut to each leg, then tighten both nuts evenly to keep the pipe seated squarely. Avoid overtightening, particularly when securing thin-walled or plastic tubing.
