Product Description
M7 × 0.75 Metric Fine Half Lock Nuts – Zinc Plated Brass or Steel
M7 × 0.75 metric fine half lock nuts, available in zinc plated brass or zinc plated high tensile steel. The reduced-height hexagon profile is useful where clearance is limited or where a thin nut is required to lock against another nut.
Also known as jam nuts, these nuts can be tightened against a second matching nut to secure an adjustment. They do not contain a nylon insert or a prevailing-torque locking feature.

Select the material required for your assembly. Brass and steel nuts have different mechanical properties and should not be treated as interchangeable where strength is critical.
Pack Quantities
Available in packs of 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1000 nuts. Select the required material and pack quantity from the options above.
Typical Applications
- Locking threaded adjustments with a second matching nut.
- Assemblies requiring a reduced-height nut.
- Maintenance and replacement of M7 × 0.75 fine thread nuts.
- General engineering and workshop repairs.
Fitting Information
Use only with a matching M7 × 0.75 bolt, stud or threaded component. These nuts will not fit standard M7 × 1.00 coarse threads.
When used as a jam nut, tighten against a second matching nut using the appropriate assembly procedure. Use a correctly fitting spanner and avoid overtightening, particularly with the brass option.
Check the nut thickness and spanner size before ordering where clearance or tool access is critical.
