1/2" UNC A2 Stainless Steel Socket Button Head Machine Screws
A2 stainless steel socket button head machine screws with a 1/2"-13 UNC thread. The shallow, rounded head provides a neat finish for brackets, panels, covers and general engineering assemblies.
The internal hexagon socket accepts a 5/16" imperial Allen key. The A2 stainless steel body offers corrosion resistance for general fastening applications.

Length is measured from beneath the head to the end of the screw. The head is excluded from the stated length. If the threaded length is critical to your assembly, please confirm it before ordering.

Fitting Advice
Use with matching 1/2"-13 UNC nuts or tapped holes. Start the screw by hand to avoid cross-threading and fully engage the correct 5/16" Allen key before tightening.
The button head sits above the mounting surface and does not require a countersink. When fitting into a blind tapped hole, check that the screw clamps the assembly before reaching the bottom of the hole.
