Product Description
Metric A2 Stainless Steel Flange Nyloc Nuts – DIN 6926
These A2 stainless steel flange Nyloc nuts combine a nylon locking insert with an integral non-serrated flange. Available in M3, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10 and M12, they feature standard metric coarse threads for use with matching bolts, screws and studs.
The nylon insert grips the mating thread to help resist loosening from vibration. The smooth flange spreads the clamping load over a wider area beneath the nut and can remove the need for a separate flat washer where the joint design allows.
Key Features
- A2-70 stainless steel: corrosion-resistant construction for general indoor and outdoor applications.
- Nylon locking insert: increases resistance to unintended loosening.
- Non-serrated flange: smooth bearing face without teeth beneath the nut.
- Integral flange: distributes clamping pressure across the mating surface.
- DIN 6926: flanged nylon insert locking nut design.
- Metric coarse threads: seven sizes from M3 to M12.

Typical Applications
- Brackets, frames and equipment housings.
- Machinery maintenance and general engineering assemblies.
- Panel fixings requiring a smooth flange bearing surface.
- Assemblies requiring both load distribution and resistance to loosening.
Choosing and Fitting Your Nuts
Match the nut diameter and pitch to the bolt or stud. Check that there is sufficient space for the flange and overall nut height.
Fit the flange end onto the fixing first and ensure the bolt thread fully engages the nylon insert when tightened. Use a correctly fitting spanner or socket and tighten to the requirements of the assembly.
Select your required thread size and pack quantity from the available options.
