2"-12 UNF High Tensile Steel Half Lock Jam Nuts – Self Colour
These 2"-12 UNF half nuts are manufactured from high tensile steel with a self-colour, unplated finish. Their reduced thickness suits locking and adjustment arrangements where space along the thread is limited.
Also known as jam nuts or thin hexagon nuts, half nuts can be tightened against a second compatible nut to secure an adjusted position. The hexagon profile allows tightening with a suitable spanner or socket.
