UNF A2 grade stainless steel half lock nuts for imperial fine thread fastening applications. These half lock / jam nuts are a reduced height nut style, suitable where a thinner UNF nut is required or where two nuts are used together to help lock an assembly.
Manufactured from A2 stainless steel, these UNF half nuts offer good corrosion resistance for automotive, engineering, machinery, restoration, repair, workshop and general stainless fastening applications. The reduced height design is useful where space is limited or where a lower profile imperial nut is needed.
Available in UNF thread sizes from 1/4" to 3/4", these A2 stainless half lock jam nuts are suitable for use with UNF bolts, screws and threaded studs. For inch series hex nut dimensions, the suitable reference is ASME B18.2.2, with ASME B1.1 covering the UNF thread form.
