Product Description
No.6 Countersunk Phillips Self Drilling Screws – Zinc Plated Steel
These No.6 self drilling screws combine a drill point with a self tapping thread for fixing into suitable sheet steel. The countersunk head seats into the material for a flush or recessed finish, while the Phillips drive accepts a matching cross-head driver bit.
Available in nine lengths, these 3.5mm diameter screws provide options for wood-to-steel fixing and general assembly. Select the length to suit the material thickness and the thread engagement required.

Self Drilling Point
The drill point creates the hole in suitable material before the thread engages. When fixing timber to steel, the point must pass through the timber and fully penetrate the steel before the screw can tighten the assembly.
Installation and Measuring
Use a correctly fitting Phillips driver bit and keep the screw square to the surface. Apply steady pressure while drilling, then control the final tightening to seat the head without stripping the thread or damaging the material.
Countersunk screw length is measured from the top of the head to the tip, including the head and drill point.
Select the required length and pack quantity using the product options.
