Product Description
No.6 pan Phillips zinc plated steel self drilling screws for wood to steel applications, manufactured from case hardened steel with a zinc plated finish for general corrosion resistance. These screws are designed to drill through timber and fix into steel without the need for a separate pilot hole in many suitable applications.
The pan head gives a neat raised finish with a wide bearing surface, while the Phillips drive allows straightforward installation with a compatible screwdriver bit. The self drilling point cuts its own hole into steel, making these screws useful for fixing timber sections, battens, boards and similar materials to steel frames or metal sections.
These No.6 self drilling screws are approximately 3.5mm diameter and are available in imperial lengths of 5/8", 7/8" and 1 1/4". This product type is listed to DIN 7504N H for pan head cross recessed self drilling screws.
