Product Description
Metric A2 Stainless Steel Countersunk Rivet Nuts – M4, M5, M6 and M8
A2 / 304 stainless steel rivet nuts with a countersunk head, grooved body and open-ended construction. These threaded inserts provide a metric fixing point in sheet material where there is insufficient thickness to tap a conventional thread.
Installed using a suitable rivet nut setting tool, they can be fitted from one side of the workpiece. The countersunk head allows a flush finish when installed into a correctly prepared countersunk hole, while the grooved body helps resist rotation.

Key Features
- A2 stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance.
- Countersunk head for a flush finish in a properly prepared hole.
- Grooved body helps resist turning within the workpiece.
- Open end accommodates a screw extending beyond the insert.
- Installation from one side of the workpiece.
Typical Applications
Suitable for sheet metal panels, enclosures, brackets and fabricated components requiring a permanent internal thread and a flush head finish.
Installation
Drill and deburr the hole, then prepare the countersink to suit the head. Fit the insert using a setting tool suitable for stainless steel rivet nuts and the selected thread size. Set the tool to form the insert securely without damaging its thread or the surrounding material.
