Product Description
A2 Stainless Steel Serrated Flange Nyloc Nuts – DIN 6926
A2 stainless steel flange locking nuts with a nylon insert and serrations beneath the flange. These DIN 6926 nuts combine a prevailing torque locking action on the bolt thread with additional grip against a suitable mating surface.
The integral flange spreads the clamping load over a wider area beneath the nut. Metric coarse threads provide compatibility with matching bolts, set screws and threaded studs.

Locking Features
The nylon insert grips the mating thread to create prevailing torque. Serrations beneath the flange engage the contact surface as the nut is tightened, helping resist rotation at the bearing face.
Key Features
- A2 stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance.
- Nylon insert provides a prevailing torque locking action.
- Serrated flange adds grip against a suitable contact surface.
- Integral flange provides a wider bearing area.
- Metric coarse threads for matching fasteners.
Typical Applications
Suitable for brackets, equipment assemblies and machinery maintenance requiring a stainless steel flange nut with nylon insert locking and a serrated bearing face.
Installation
Use a matching thread diameter and pitch, and ensure the bolt engages fully through the nylon locking insert. Allow the serrated flange to contact the mating surface directly where its gripping action is required.
Serrations can mark painted, plated or softer surfaces. Check that the nylon insert is suitable for the operating temperature and service conditions.
