Product Description
UNF self colour steel full hex nuts manufactured from Grade 5 / 8.8 high tensile steel. These imperial full nuts have a Unified National Fine thread and are supplied in a self colour, non-plated finish for engineering, automotive, machinery, restoration and general repair applications.
The full hex nut design provides standard nut height and spanner engagement, making these nuts suitable for use with compatible UNF bolts, set screws, studs and threaded bar. UNF threads are commonly used on classic vehicles, older machinery, American thread fasteners and imperial engineering assemblies.
Available in UNF thread sizes from 5/16" to 5/8", with TPI options including 24, 20 and 18 depending on the selected size. For imperial hex nuts, the suitable dimensional standard is ASME B18.2.2, with ASME B1.1 covering the UNF thread form.
