Product Description
Steel/Steel Sealed Blind Pop Rivets – 3.2mm, 4mm and 4.8mm
Sealed blind rivets with a steel body and steel mandrel, available in 3.2mm, 4.0mm and 4.8mm diameters. The closed end body helps prevent moisture passing through the rivet, making these fasteners suitable for panels, enclosures and sheet metal assemblies where sealing is important.
Blind installation allows the rivet to be set from one side of the joint. Choose the diameter and body length using the grip range table to suit the combined thickness of the materials being joined.

Grip range is the total thickness of the materials being joined. Measure the complete material stack and choose a rivet whose grip range includes that thickness. Dimensions and grip ranges above are the published listing values and should be checked where critical.
Key Features
- Closed end body helps restrict moisture passage through the rivet.
- Steel body and steel mandrel construction.
- Installation from one accessible side.
- Three diameters with nine listed size combinations.
- Permanent fastening for compatible sheet materials.
Typical Applications
Suitable for panels, enclosures, sheet metal fabrication and repair work where a closed end blind rivet is required. Overall joint sealing also depends on hole preparation, installation and the surfaces around the rivet head.
Installation
Prepare aligned holes to the listed drill size and remove burrs. Insert the rivet fully with the head seated against the surface. Use a rivet tool rated for the selected diameter and steel/steel construction, fitted with the correct nosepiece.
Hold the tool square and complete the setting cycle until the mandrel breaks. Inspect the finished joint for correct seating and secure clamping.
Ordering
Select your required diameter, body length and pack quantity from the available options. Each pack contains the selected size; these are not mixed assortment packs.
