Sizes are stated as rivet body diameter × body length. Body length is measured from beneath the dome head and does not include the projecting mandrel. Body length is not the same as grip range.

Installation and Grip Selection
Select a rivet whose specified grip range covers the combined thickness of the materials being joined. Confirm the required hole diameter and use a rivet tool rated for stainless steel rivets of the selected diameter, particularly the 6.4mm size.
Drill and deburr the aligned holes, insert the rivet fully and hold the nosepiece square against the head while setting. Confirm the grip range for the chosen rivet before installation.
