Product Description
Metric A4 Stainless Steel Countersunk Knurled Rivet Nuts – M4 to M10
A4 stainless steel blind rivet nuts with countersunk heads and round knurled bodies. These threaded inserts provide a mounting thread in thin material where a conventional tapped hole may not offer sufficient thread engagement.
The grooved outer body helps resist rotation after correct installation. The countersunk head allows a flush fitting when installed in a suitably prepared countersunk hole.

Key Features
- A4 stainless steel construction for corrosion resistance.
- Countersunk head for flush installation in a prepared hole.
- Knurled body helps resist the insert turning in the material.
- Creates a permanent internal thread for removable bolts or screws.
- Blind setting allows installation from one accessible side.
Typical Applications
Sheet metal panels, enclosures, brackets, equipment housings and assemblies requiring a stainless steel threaded insert with a countersunk head.
Grip Range and Installation
Confirm that the material thickness falls within the grip range of the selected insert before fitting. Body length is not the same as grip range.
Drill and deburr the hole, then prepare a countersink suited to the rivet nut head. Use a setting tool rated for stainless steel rivet nuts with the correct mandrel and nosepiece. Set the tool stroke or force for the insert and material thickness, and check the installation in a sample piece before production use.
Ordering
