Imperial Yellow Zinc Plated Steel Spring Washers
Imperial regular spring washers manufactured from through-hardened steel with a yellow zinc plated finish. Available in seven nominal sizes from 5/16" to 1", these split spring washers are used beneath compatible nuts or bolt heads in mechanical assemblies, maintenance and repair work.
The split helical form deflects as the joint is tightened. The yellow zinc finish provides added corrosion resistance and matches other yellow zinc plated fasteners.

Sizes refer to the nominal bolt diameter, not the measured washer bore or outside diameter. Washers are unthreaded, so selection depends on fastener diameter rather than thread pitch.

Selection and Installation
Select the washer to suit the nominal bolt diameter and check clearance around the fastener. Fit beneath the nut or bolt head as specified for the assembly, then tighten the joint to its required torque.
Where resistance to vibration-induced loosening is essential, use the locking arrangement specified for the application.
