National Pipe Thread high speed steel straight flute taps for cutting new internal tapered NPT pipe threads.

These high-quality UK made HSS taps are suitable for producing internal NPT threads in pipe fittings, adapters, manifolds, hydraulic components and general engineering parts. NPT uses a tapered 60-degree thread form and is commonly found on American-manufactured pneumatic, hydraulic and fluid-handling equipment.

Please note: NPT sizes refer to the nominal pipe size and do not equal the actual measured thread diameter. A suitable thread sealant is normally required when assembling NPT pipe connections.
