M8 A2 stainless steel mushroom head coach bolts manufactured to DIN 603 with a square neck and standard 1.25mm metric coarse thread.
These coach bolts feature a smooth domed head with a square section beneath it. When fitted into a suitable square hole or pulled into timber, the square neck helps prevent the bolt from turning while the nut is tightened from the opposite side.

Coach bolts are commonly used for timber construction, fencing, gates, furniture, brackets and general fabrication. The smooth mushroom head provides a neat appearance and leaves no exposed drive recess on the fitted side.
A2 stainless steel provides good corrosion resistance for general indoor and outdoor applications. For marine, coastal or more aggressive environments, A4 stainless steel may be more suitable.
Use with a matching M8 metric coarse nut and a suitable washer. Stainless steel threads can be susceptible to galling, so a suitable anti-seize compound may be beneficial during assembly.
