M14 A2 stainless steel large-diameter penny repair washers manufactured to DIN 9021, with an approximately 44mm external diameter and 2.8mm actual thickness.
These oversized flat washers provide a much wider bearing surface than standard flat washers. They help distribute clamping loads over a larger area and are particularly useful when fastening thin sheet material, covering enlarged holes and reinforcing weakened mounting points.

DIN 9021 penny washers are commonly used in automotive repairs, bodywork, mudguards, panels, roofing, cladding, fabrication, machinery, agricultural equipment, trailers and general maintenance applications.
The oversized 44mm external diameter spreads the load from an M14 bolt, screw or nut over a substantially wider area than a standard washer. This can help reduce the risk of the fastener pulling through thin material and can bridge holes that have become worn, enlarged or damaged.
The approximately 15mm clearance hole is designed to accommodate an M14 metric fastener. The washer should sit flat against the mating surface and be adequately supported across its bearing area.
A2 stainless steel provides good general corrosion resistance and is suitable for many indoor and outdoor applications. For marine, coastal, swimming-pool or highly corrosive environments, A4 stainless steel may be more appropriate.
Please note: DIN 9021 gives a nominal thickness of 3mm for this washer size. The supplied washers measure approximately 2.8mm thick, which falls within the normal dimensional tolerance for this standard. Specifications are intended as a guide only.
