Product Description
3/8" UNC A2 Stainless Steel Socket Cap Bolts with Shank
These 3/8" UNC socket cap bolts are manufactured from corrosion-resistant A2 stainless steel and feature a partially threaded shank. The cylindrical head and internal hexagon drive provide a strong, compact fastening solution for engineering, machinery, automotive, maintenance and general assembly applications.
The bolts have a 3/8"-16 UNC thread, meaning the thread diameter is 3/8" and there are 16 threads per inch. Their principal inch-series dimensions correspond to ASME B18.3 hexagon socket head cap screw requirements.
A 5/16" AF hexagon key is required for installation. This is approximately 7.94mm, so an 8mm key may sometimes appear to fit but should not be specified as the correct drive size.
