These M8 metric fine socket cap set screws are manufactured from high-tensile property class 12.9 steel and supplied with a self-colour, unplated finish. They feature an M8 × 1 fine-pitch thread and are fully threaded along their available length.
The internal hexagon socket provides secure tool engagement and allows these fasteners to be installed where access around the head is restricted. The 1mm fine pitch provides more threads per unit of length than the standard M8 coarse pitch, making it suitable for accurate adjustment and secure clamping.

Installation Guidance
Confirm that the mating component has an M8 × 1 thread before installation. These fine-pitch screws are not compatible with the standard M8 × 1.25 coarse thread. Attempting to combine different pitches may damage both components.
Use a correctly fitting hex key and apply a tightening torque suitable for the joint, lubrication condition and application. Property class 12.9 fasteners should be used with mating components of suitable strength.
Self-colour steel does not have a protective plated coating and offers limited corrosion resistance. Apply a suitable lubricant, protective coating or corrosion inhibitor when the screws may encounter moisture or corrosive conditions.
