UK-made carbon steel circular split die for cleaning and restoring existing British Standard Cycle external threads. The die has a 13/16 inch outside diameter for use with a compatible die stock.

Thread Standard
The British Standard Cycle thread corresponds to BS 811:1950. Verify the thread form before use because other 1/4 inch thread systems may also use 26 TPI.
Usage Advice
Apply suitable cutting lubricant and start the die square to the existing thread. Reverse it regularly to clear debris and avoid forcing the die over badly damaged sections.
