Product Description
1/4" UNF A2 Stainless Steel Countersunk Socket Screws
These 1/4" UNF countersunk socket screws are manufactured from A2 stainless steel for good general corrosion resistance. The fine 28 TPI thread is suitable for use with matching UNF nuts or tapped holes.
The countersunk head provides a flush finish when fitted into a correctly prepared countersink. An internal hexagon socket accepts a 5/32" Allen key, making these screws suitable for machinery, panels, brackets and general engineering assemblies.

Fitting Information
Use a correctly fitting 5/32" Allen key or hexagon bit and a matching 1/4" UNF nut or tapped hole. Prepare the countersink to suit the screw head and choose a length that provides adequate thread engagement without bottoming out.
Keep the driver fully engaged and tighten steadily. When assembling stainless steel threads, a suitable anti-seize compound can help reduce galling; follow the assembly's tightening requirements and account for lubrication.
